World Tourism Day observed
Kerala celebrated World Tourism Day with various events, including cycle rallies, film shows and competitions. The highlight was a bicycle rally spreading the tourism day message by a group of 20 students of Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS). The celebrations were based on the official theme of United Nations World Tourism Organization this year - 'Tourism and Sustainable Energy: Powering Sustainable Development'.
