Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) Hotels & Resorts, the official hotel chain of the State, is planning tourist-friendly taxis to cater to its guests. The corporation will soon prepare a panel of travel agents, who can offer taxis with trained and friendly personnel behind the wheels.
The corporation officials said that the move is in the wake of the demand from its guests to provide personnel who are well-versed in local tourist attractions and good communication skills. The guests will also have the option for better services, if they are not satisfied with the allotted vehicle or personnel, the officials said.
