New website for Malappuram

A new website focusing on the tourism potential of Malappuram district was launched recently. The new website www.malappuramtourism.org was launched by Mr. A.P. Anilkumar, Minister for Tourism, Kerala. 

www.malappuramtourism.org has been conceived and developed to highlight the travel attractions of Malappuram district, which has a special place in the history and cultural heritage of Kerala. The focus of the website is to identify and assimilate as much as relevant information on various travel attractions of Malappuram and present the same authentically. 

By launching this exclusive website on Malappuram district, a beginning has been made to unveil a destination that is bound to captivate travellers from around the world. The District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) of Malappuram intends to make this website a useful online resource for travellers and other segments of users. 

Finding a place in this website of Malappuram DTPC are its Natural attractions; its many Pilgrim destinations; Experiences in the form of institutions, museums; popular Art forms and Festivals of Malappuram; famous Personalities; a visual Gallery featuring quality pictures and videos and things Exclusive to Malappuram district. Apart from these, the website also carries useful Travel related information like food, accommodation, information centres, travel agents and healthcare. One can also keep a tab on the Ongoing Tourism projects and Tenders on this website.
