The tourist amenity centre and children's park built by Kerala Tourism, in association with the Forests and Wildlife Department at Ponmudi hill station in Thiruvananthapuram was thrown open to the public recently.
Chief Minister Mr. Oommen Chandy inaugurated the amenity centre and Mr. A.P. Anilkumar, Minister for Tourism, Kerala opened the children's park. Forests Minister Mr. K.B. Ganesh Kumar presided over the function. An interpretation centre and cafeteria form part of the amenity centre.
