The first meeting of the Kerala State Tourism Advisory Committee was held recently. The committee formed to advise on destination development, product development, marketing strategies and market research has some of the eminent personalities of the tourism industry and allied sectors as members.
The 19-member committee has the KTDC Chairman, Tourism Secretary, Tourism Director and KTDC Managing Director as ex-officio members.
The committee members are Mr. Jose Dominic (MD, CGH Earth Experience), Mr. Kochouseph Chittilappilly (Wonderla Holidays (P) Ltd), Mr. Vivek Nair (Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Leela Ventures), Mr. E.M. Najeeb (CMD, Air Travel Enterprises), Mr. K.C. Chandrahasan (MD, Kerala Travels Interserve), Mr. T. Damu (Vice President, Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces), Mr. Baby Mathew (MD, Somatheeram Ayurveda Group), Mr. Riyaz Ahmed (MD, Abad Hotels & Resorts), Mr. M.R. Narayanan (MD, Floatels India Ltd), Mr. Abraham George (MD, Intersight Tours & Travels), Ms. Asha Subramaniam (Emirates Airlines), Mr. Raveendran (Owner, Pranavam Homestay), Mr. Vancheeswaran (MD, Wynberg Resort), Mr. Ravisankar K.V.
