The District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), Kannur, held a tourism camp for students recently. Tourism Club members of higher secondary schools and colleges in the district attended the two-day camp, which included field visits and seminars.
The DTPC authorities said the camp was intended to familiarise the students with the history, heritage and tourist destinations in the district. The participants of the camp visited Arakkal Palace, Thalassery Fort, Odathil Mosque and Thodeekulam temple.
