Wayanad set for a New High in Tourism
In order to gain more attention of travellers, Wayanad, the hill destination of Kerala will be the focus of an upcoming aggressive marketing campaign to highlight the unique tourism potential of the district. The government was giving equal importance to all tourism destinations in the State, said Mr. A. P. Anilkumar, Minister for Tourism, Kerala, after inaugurating the newly constructed office and tourist information centre of District Tourism Promotion Council at Wayanad. Kerala Tourism has been giving special attention to improve the infrastructure at tourism centres in the State.
