The eighth edition of Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) will take place from 18 to 20th of September 2014 at Samudrika Convention Centre in Kochi. Kerala Travel Mart is the only travel mart in India that showcases a single destination – Kerala.
KTM brings together entrepreneurs behind the tourism products and services of Kerala on a single platform. Considered to be the largest gathering in the tourism industry of Kerala, the mart is hosted by Kerala Tourism in association with the Kerala Travel Mart Society. The mart facilitates meetings and interactions of buyers, sellers and the media. Tour Operators, Hotels, Resorts, Homestays, Houseboats, Ayurveda Resorts, Cultural Centres and many others will showcase their products and services during KTM.
KTM is held once in two years in the month of September and the stupendous success of each mart has inspired the KTM Society to innovate, think out-of-the box and take each mart to the next level. KTM 2014 will reach out to buyers from new markets like Australia, Austria, Brazil, Chile, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Norway, Poland, South Africa, Sweden and USA. KTM 2012 was attended by more than 1200 buyers.
The highlight of KTM 2014 would be to promote innovative tourism products of Kerala like Village Life Experience, Cultural Tours and Destination Wedding themes. The hosted buyer programme is a unique component of the show and it provides buyers with an opportunity to meet with exhibitors of their choice and can have focused one-to-one sessions.
This time, during KTM 2014, the KTM Society and Kerala Tourism are looking forward to a big turnout of MICE operators, Wellness and Adventure Tour operators.
