In its efforts to tap new markets, Kerala Tourism will conduct roadshows in Hungary, Malaysia and New Zealand. The roadshows will be in Budapest (Hungary) on 30th September, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) on 23rd September and Auckland (New Zealand) on 20th October.
The decision to venture into new markets was taken after analyzing tourist arrival statistics to Kerala. The demand for better air connectivity and the decision to extend the tourist-visa-on-arrival to more countries also played a part in this decision.
Kerala Tourism has finalized its participation in international travel fairs and roadshows in 2014-15. Starting from September 23rd, the trade fairs which will have the presence of Kerala Tourism are Top Resa, Paris; JATA Travel Mart, Tokyo; WTM, London; FITUR, Madrid; ITB, Berlin and MITT Moscow.
This year, Kerala Tourism will organize roadshows in Moscow (Russia), Sydney and Melbourne (Australia), Oslo (Norway), Copenhagen (Denmark), Helsinki (Finland), Düsseldorf and Berlin (Germany), Milan (Italy) and London (UK).
