A roadshow in a relatively new territory - Moscow and a debut in Budapest, kept Kerala Tourism blipping on the international travel radar in the last week of October.
Kerala Tourism held its first roadshow in Budapest, which was held at the Danubius Hotel Gellért. The roadshow kicked off with the screening of a film on Kerala, followed by a multimedia presentation by Ms. Anupama T. V. IAS, Additional Director, Kerala Tourism, who was in charge of the Kerala Tourism delegation. The presentation turned out as a window to the travel attractions in Kerala and enabled the tour operators from Hungary to have a feel of Kerala's captivating natural beauty.
In Moscow, the roadshow held at Hotel Baltschug Kempinski was inaugurated by India's Ambassador to Moscow Mr. P. S. Raghavan. The roadshow began with a film on Kerala and the multimedia presentation that followed enlightened the audience on the latest developments in Kerala Tourism. The Kerala delegation to Moscow was led by Ms. Anupama T. V. IAS, Additional Director, Kerala Tourism.
In Budapest and Moscow, the delegation from Kerala had very productive business sessions. The business sessions helped in developing B2B contacts and in familiarizing the Hungarian and Russian trade with the tourism products of Kerala. The turnout for the Kerala show at both venues exciting and the sellers from Kerala found these markets really attractive and productive.
