A cleanliness drive in these destinations by roping in the public was also organised. In order to ensure continued management of these destinations, Destination Managers are being appointed.

An orientation programme for these students will be held to ensure the successful completion of the project. A review meeting to oversee the works undertaken till now is also in the offing. The multi-agency participatory campaign involves engagement of tourism and trade stakeholders, local self-government bodies, the National Service Scheme Technical Cell under the Directorate of Technical Education, Suchitwa Mission, Kudumbasree, educational institutions and NGOs, apart from other social organisations.
