Kerala Tourism will hold a series of partnership meets from July 26 to foster networking among travel-hospitality trade and native tour operators. This has been planned to increase the tourist footfalls to Kerala and will be held in ten cities.
The first partnership meet under phase-I for 2016-17 was held at Gurgaon and the last will be held on 6th September 2016 at Nasik. Other venues include Ludhiana, Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, Raipur, Nagpur, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad. The day-long B2B event will focus on the promotion of Kerala Tourism and its products to potential buyers from these cities.
Classified hotels and resorts, houseboats, serviced villas, Ayurveda centres, and homestays approved by Kerala Tourism will participate in the partnership meets. The delegation led by the Director of Tourism and senior officials in the marketing wing will promote Brand Kerala as an exotic travel destination. The meets feature tourist attractions of the State and will help tour operators to get familiar with them. As many as 50 stakeholders are participating in the meets.
