Renowned film actor Mr. Mammootty released the trailer of Kerala’s first sound and light hybrid show from his shooting location in Kolar.
Mr. A. P. Anilkumar, Minister for Tourism, Kerala, announced that Mr. Mammootty has released the trailer ahead of the inauguration of the show by Mr. Oommen Chandy, Chief Minister, Kerala, on February 29 at St Angelo's Fort, Kannur.
The hybrid show makes use of multimedia and laser lighting for presenting the history of the 16th century Portuguese fort in Kannur through a series of events starting from the origin of the fort to the time India gained independence.
"The trailer was an audio visual invitation to an enticing show to experience the state’s first ever “monumental hybrid show”," said the Minister.
Mr. Mammootty has featured as the “Count of Fort St. Angelo”, a voice which is captured in the walls of the fort for the past 500 years.
The 53-minute show is written and directed by writer, director and actor Mr. Shankar Ramakrishnan and is designed and produced by Bangalore based tech firm, Symbolein Technologies for the District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), Kannur.
