Kanyakumari to Woo Travellers with a New Guest House
Tourism Minister Mr. Kadakampally Surendran has laid the foundation stone for a new guest house complex in Kanyakumari. The KTDC Chairman Mr M. Vijayakumar was present along with other officials at the ceremony. The guest house fitted with modern amenities will be constructed by the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC).
A sum of INR 17.5 cr has been set aside for the 48500 sq ft building. The guest house will be built on the vacant land within the premises of the existing Kerala guest house in Kanyakumari.
According to the officials of the KTDC, the guest house complex will offer accommodation facilities to all kinds of travellers. The finished structure will resemble the KTDC Chennai guest house and hotel.
