With the aim of helping underprivileged students, Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) has decided to donate TV sets from its various hotels to the General Education Department. This will help students who are currently unable to tune into the educational channel on television due to the absence of a TV set, and thereby further their education. As many as 100 TV sets will be donated. Already 30 TV sets have been handed over by Mr. M. Vijayakumar, Chairman, KTDC, from Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram.
