Chilean Ambassador to India calls on Kerala Tourism Minister

The Chilean Ambassador to India Mr Juan Angulo visited the office of the Kerala Tourism Minister Mr P. A. Mohamed Riyas in Thiruvananthapuram.

They discussed proposals to activate cooperation between Kerala and Chile in the field of tourism. Mr Angulo gifted a collection of poems by world-famous Chilean poet Pablo Neruda to Mr Riyas. The Kerala Tourism Minister presented the famous Aranmula mirror as a symbol of Kerala's love to the Chilean Ambassador.

Chile is a long narrow country that extends like a ribbon down the west coast of South America. The country is rich in natural beauty and plant and animal life. The long coastline is home to penguins, pelicans, sea lions and migratory whales.
