KERALA TOURISM NEWSLETTER
4th edition of International Conference on Tourism Technology on February 24
The fourth edition of the International Conference on Tourism Technology (ICTT 2023) will be held at Gokulam Convention Centre in Ernakulam district on February 24.
Organized by the Association of Tourism Trade Organizations, India, (ATTOI) and supported by Kerala Tourism, the conference aims to prepare the travel and tourism industrialists in India and neighbouring countries to understand the importance of web marketing, learn how to use the resources available online to drive business, get inputs in adapting to the changing technology and acquire skills to beat the competition.
Travellers are using digital technologies more prominently since 2022 after the pandemic. This digital transformation in the tourism industry has resulted in adapting modern solutions to the daily tasks of organizing travel - from choosing a destination and planning an itinerary to booking flights and other modes of transportation, as well as hotels.
Short-form Videos have taken over social media in recent years and the 4th Edition of ICTT focuses on 5 trending topics: tips for creating viral Instagram reels; how to build your online visibility through the most effective SEO; how to make an effective online advertisement; the importance of storytelling in tourism and how to grow your YouTube channel.
The conference will feature eminent speakers from varied backgrounds giving talks and entertaining sessions on various tourism-related topics. Mr Sorav Jain (digital marketing expert), Ms Dipti Parmar (marketing consultant), Dr Seema Gupta (Digital Marketing Ex-Professor of IIM Bangalore), Mr Sachin Bansal (founder and chief explorer of City Explorers) and Ms Ivana Perkovic (storytelling and brand building YouTube video content creation) are the speakers at the conference.
