Kerala Tourism Pavilion a Show-Stealer at Keraleeyam 2023
Any visitor who visited the Kerala tourism stall at Keraleeyam could enjoy a virtual boating experience in the backwaters, watch a herd of elephants moving through the forest in Thekkady and get a live feel of parasailing over Kovalam Beach! The pavilion, with a Virtual Reality (VR) hub and an LED Corridor besides charming visual representations of the salient features of Kerala, became a hit at Keraleeyam.
While the LED Video corridor at the entrance offered a live feel of walking along a beach with an interplay of light and shade, the VR hub offered a 360-degree view of the stunning beauty of Kerala’s feted natural beauty featuring backwaters, forests and wildlife.
It tapped the immense scope of digital technology to feature Kerala’s panoramic Nature in all its charm and cultural diversity. It drew a steady stream of visitors since the start of the show.
To add excitement to the event, attendees were offered a chance to engage in online games, and join a live quiz hosted at the primary pavilion and various other locations within Keraleeyam.
Tourism Minister Mr P. A. Mohamed Riyas visited the pavilion, and interacted with the youth and children present there on the occasion. The participants recorded their deep appreciation of the attractive and interactive manner in which the show was arranged.
The pavilion also featured videos and brochures on major tourism destinations, projects and products of Kerala Tourism.
