Kerala still a Favourite Haunt for Travellers

The latest figures released by the Tourism Department of Kerala point to the fact that despite the brief lull in the inflow of tourists during the COVID period, Kerala has held onto its position at the top of travel charts steadily. According to the Department, more than half a crore foreigners have travelled to the state on leisure in the last seven years. As per records of the Office of the Director of Tourism, 43.10 lakh people from across 133 countries visited Kerala from May 2016 to May 2021.
