Kerala Tourism Launches Campaign to Attract Gujarat Travelers

Published in Newsletter Issue No. 379 - March 2025

With summer vacations approaching, Kerala Tourism has launched a new campaign aimed at attracting domestic travelers, particularly families from Gujarat. The initiative was unveiled at an event in Ahmedabad, where officials showcased Kerala’s new tourism offerings designed to provide unique and convenient travel experiences.

According to Sajesh N, Information Officer of Kerala Tourism, the state is introducing new tourism products tailored for school vacationers and family tourists. He noted that over three lakh visitors from Gujarat explored Kerala last year, and this campaign aims to increase those numbers further.

This year’s campaign places special emphasis on North Kerala, promoting Bekal, Wayanad, and Kozhikode as key destinations. These regions, known for their pristine landscapes and cultural heritage, will be complemented by an improved tourism infrastructure, making them more accessible to travelers.

As part of Kerala Tourism’s efforts to enhance travel convenience, new initiatives like heli-tourism and seaplane services are being introduced. These additions will provide travelers with faster and more scenic transit options.

By expanding its offerings and promoting lesser-known destinations, Kerala Tourism aims to boost domestic tourism and position Kerala as a preferred vacation spot for Gujarat travelers, ensuring a memorable and hassle-free travel experience.
