This result highlights the growing global appreciation for traditional Indian flavours, particularly Kerala’s unique take on the mango pickle.

The second most-searched recipe in India, the mango pickle continues to be a beloved staple. Kerala’s version, spiced with mustard seeds, fenugreek, and red chilli powder, is a flavourful accompaniment to Sadya and daily meals. Its enduring popularity signifies the love for pickles across India and Kerala’s mastery in preserving seasonal tastes.

The second most-searched "near me" keyword on Google in 2024, Onasadya is the heart of the Onam festival. This vegetarian feast, served on banana leaves, features over 26 dishes like avial, sambar and payasam. Representing Kerala’s agrarian roots and cultural pride, the Sadya transcends religious and geographical boundaries. Malayalis across India—from Bangalore to Delhi—turned to searches like “Onasadya near me” to reconnect with their roots, and celebrate Onam with authentic Kerala cuisine.
