Ari Murukku is a crunchy, flavoursome deep fried snack popular in Kerala. A tea time snack, Murukku is prepared from a mixture of black gram dal, rice flour and spices. Rice flour mixture is pressed out through a 'Seva Nazhi' or String Hopper and deep fried in oil.
