This picture of the Arippa Forest that we bring you is what conquers your heart. Located 52 kilometres northeast of Thiruvananthapuram city along the Thiruvananthapuram-Shenkottah State Highway. The forest, locally known as Arippa Ammayambalam Pacha, covers an area of 1,000 hectares. With its rich flora and fauna, this lowland evergreen forest is an ornithologist's delight as well.
