Arpookara, Kottayam
Arpookara is a picturesque rural village in the Kottayam district, and is known for its backwaters. It is one of the emerging tourist destinations in the district that offers an experience of rustic life. Saint Alphonsa took birth here, and her birthplace has been converted to a beautiful museum.
