Attappadi, Palakkad
Attappadi, in Palakkad, is one of Kerala's largest tribal settlements, known for its Malleeswaram peak worship in the form of a Siva-linga. The Sivarathri celebrations and the Bhavani River play integral roles in local traditions. The area, inhabited by Irulas, Mudugas, and Kurumbar tribes, remains a picturesque and protected reserve.
