Chakka Kozhukattai
Jackfruit, the state fruit of Kerala, and the numerous dishes made out of it are popular in the state. Chakka Kozhukattai or Steamed Jackfruit Dumpling is a tasty, seasonal dish which contains jackfruit, coconut and spices. It is made by making dough with jackfruit, rice flour and cardamom, using it to create small cup-like shapes, filling it with coconut and jaggery, and finally steaming till it is well cooked.
