This one is not for jelly hearts
Bulls all over the world are famed for their tough demeanor. To tame them and enjoy their company is not every one's cup of tea. But the farmers at Chithali think otherwise...a fact which one could get convinced of during the annual bull race.
The picture is taken from the annual bull race held at the village of Chithali in Palakkad district of Kerala. Bulls in pairs along with a runner form a team and they run to clock maximum speed to beat the rest of the competing teams. The bulls and the runners train intensively prior to the race. The race is usually held in water filled paddy fields, after the harvest season.
