Kodungalloor Bharani – A whirlpool of Devotion

Sree Kurumba Bhagavathy Temple situated in Kodungalloor awaits with hundreds of sword-wielding oracles clad in bright red attire during its annual festival called Bharani. As part of the kavutheendal ritual held during Bharani festival, men and women as oracles dash around the temple with swords in their hands creating an aura of faith and extreme devotion.
