Kathakali is a traditional dance-drama of Kerala and this museum is one that’s dedicated to the creator of this unique art form - Kottarakkara Thampuran. Established for the promotion of the classical arts, the museum is also widely known as the Kottarakkara Kathakali Museum and is located in Kollam district of Kerala.
