The Kumaran Asan National Institute of Culture is located at Thonnakkal in Thiruvananthapuram. The memorial established at his birthplace serves as a study centre, drawing in enthusiasts of language, scholars and tourists from every corner of the globe. Within the premises, visitors can also admire four sculptures and the renowned 'Freedom Gate,' all crafted by the acclaimed artist Kanayi Kunhiraman.
