Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple, Alappuzha
Situated near Harippad in Alappuzha district, Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple is an internationally renowned pilgrim centre dedicated to the Serpent God Nagaraja. The serpent shrine is under the patronage of a Brahmin family. The major festival at the shrine is the Ayilyam Festival that falls on the Ayilyam asterism in the Malayalam month of Thulam, which falls on October 30 this year.
