North Paravur Synagogue, Ernakulam
Built in 1616, the North Paravur Synagogue in Ernakulam district is the largest and longest among synagogues in Kerala. The place of worship was patronized by Malabari Jews or Jews born of the union between the European Jews and the natives. The structure of the synagogue is a beautiful mixture of Jewish and Kerala architectural designs.
