Padmanabhapuram Palace

Situated at Thuckalai, Padmanabhapuram Palace is a well-preserved wooden palace and a glorious testimony to the traditional Kerala school of architecture. The seat of the erstwhile rulers of the Travancore, the palace houses extraordinary murals, exquisite floral carvings and black glossy granite floor.  Hundreds of devotees throng the temple during the annual 10-day Navarathri festival (September-October).
