Pakida Kali is a game of dice popular during Onam celebrations. It is played on a platform made of wood in which segments (kalam) are drawn. The 96 segments are arranged in four columns. Pakida, a copper or brass instrument, is spread out like a chess board, and the movements are made using a tool called Choothu.
