Peripheral Forest of Dhoni | Dhoni
Dhoni is a reserve forest with its misty mountains just 12 km from Palakkad town. The trek from the base area is a three hour trip to the reserve forest area where the view is extremely beautiful and is rich in wildlife like elephant, tiger, deer and other animals. Kerala Forest Departmant provides trekking programme here - Trek to the waterfalls like Sapal, Maampuzha and Meenvallam.
