A perennial freshwater lake near Lakkidi in Wayanad district, Pookode Lake is surrounded by a lush evergreen forest and resembles the shape of India’s physical map. Kayaking and boating facilities, a freshwater aquarium, a children’s park and a handicrafts and spices emporium are among the attractions in this major tourist hotspot of the district.
