The high ranges of Kerala are home to endless stretches of spice plantations. Kerala produces twelve varieties of spices including pepper, vanilla, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric and more. The state produces some of the best quality when it comes to spices like cardamom and pepper.
