A Sweet Porridge – Payasam
God’s Own Country’s very own dessert is Payasam. It is an inseparable part of our traditional Sadya (feast). You can find an innumerable variety of this sweet dessert in Kerala. The picture is about Adapradhaman popularly known as the King of Payasams. It is usually made of ada / rice pasta bits, jaggery, coconut milk, ghee, cashew nuts and so forth.
