An abode of peace, Thangalpara at Kolahalamedu near Vagamon, offers breathtaking views of rolling greens, cloud-kissed peaks and unpolluted air. It is also a famous Muslim pilgrimage site and as per the legend, a Sufi saint Sheikh Fariduddin Baba and his followers came here about 800 years ago.  There are unique rock formations on the hilltop and just near the huge spherical rock are located the tomb, a masjid, a prayer centre and a well.
