Thirakali
Thirakali is a ritual art performed during the temple festivals of north Kerala. The “Thira” represents Goddess Kali and the “Poothan” signifies her Bhoothagana (entourage of spirits). Poothan and Thira first perform on the temple premises and then go from house to house.
