Thunchan Memorial

The Thunchan Memorial, located at Tirur in the Malappuram district, stands as a respectful tribute to the legendary Thunchath Ezhuthachan, widely hailed as the father of the Malayalam language. The Memorial upholds Ezhuthachan's timeless artistry through exhibits such as the iron stylus used in composing palm-leaf manuscripts and the ancient ‘Kanjira Tree’ that inspired his poetic expressions.
