Wayanad Tea, Coffee Plantations

With a production of around 50,000 to 60,000 tonnes of robusta coffee annually, Wayanad is one of the prominent regions in the country cultivating the variety. As a result of the superabundance of both sunlight and rainfall, the land in Wayanad is highly fertile and the pleasant climate is conducive to coffee and tea cultivation. A tour through the lush green coffee and tea estates or a stay at any of those is one of the innumerable delights that the district has to offer the tourists.
