Member - Kerala State Planning Board. Ms. Mini Sukumar is a distinguished academic and women's rights activist. She has been teaching Women's Studies at the University of Calicut since 2005. Deeply rooted in the women's movement in Kerala, she was associated with 'Sthree Padana Kendram', a pioneering women's collective. She has also held key positions like the State Programme Director of Kerala Mahila Samakhya Society. Beyond academia, Sukumar is a prolific writer, contributing articles, book reviews, and columns. She is a frequent television presenter and a founding member of Women's Imprint, a feminist publishing house. Currently, she serves as the National General Secretary of the Indian Association for Women's Studies and is a member of the Governing Body of Gender Park, Kerala.
