Ms. Monolita Chatterjee


Monolita Chatterjee is a renowned architect specializing in heritage conservation and transformation. She has worked on significant heritage structures in Dutch Cochin, including the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) preserved Mattancherry Palace and Museum. Empanelled by the ASI for the conservation of heritage sites and monuments in South India, her award-winning transformation works have been published in leading dailies and design magazines. Monolita has several award-winning resort architecture projects to her name and has been involved in various heritage and transformation architecture projects both in and outside Kerala. She has been part of the Urban Design team for the City Corporation, contributing to heritage and renewal plans. As an empanelled architect for ASI, South Zone, she has coordinated several heritage renewal projects. Additionally, Monolita has been the coordinator for the Kerala leg of the University of Georgia’s ‘Studies Abroad Program’ on Sustainability Studies.
