Dr. V. venu IAS is the former Chief Secretary, Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala. He was formerly Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The National Museum in Delhi underwent a structural and organizational transformation during his tenure as the Museum's Director General. Dr Venu also played a major role in the Incredible India campaign during his time in the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Dr Venu has contributed his vision to many of the Rural and Responsible Tourism initiatives. Also as the former Director for Tourism, it was during his time that IT initiatives were launched for the promotion of tourism in the state.
