Poulomi Pal has over 17 years of experience in India's development sector, focusing on gender-based violence, women's work, and gender policy analysis. She played a key role in developing India's One Stop Centres (Sakhi centers) guidelines to address sexual and gender-based violence. A certified trainer on gender rights, she has served on Internal Committees under the POSH Act in various organizations. Poulomi has worked with research institutions, non-profits, grant-making bodies, and government agencies. Previously, she was a Technical Specialist at ICRW Asia and Program & Research Advisor at IDRC Asia. Poulomi holds a Political Science degree from Lady Shri Ram College, a Master's, M.Phil, and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University. She earned a postgraduate diploma from ISS, Netherlands, and was a Fulbright-Nehru Postdoctoral Scholar at Amherst College, USA, where she researched One-Stop Crisis Centers in the U.S. and India.
