Into the Fruit Bowl of Kerala, Kanthalloor
Kanthalloor, popularly known as the fruit bowl of Kerala, is situated around 40 km from Munnar in Idukki district. The region is home to unique agricultural methods and vast veggie farms, which makes the place different from the rest of Kerala. Apples, plums, pomegranates, guavas, gooseberries, eggplants, and peaches are grown here in abundance. Apple and orange are the most famous crops in Kanthalloor.

Apple Farm

9.00 am to 11.00 am
Apple is one of the most popular crops in Kanthalloor. The area has fertile apt soil and the climatic condition is conducive for apple cultivation. Today, Kanthalloor Apples are famous all around the state. Apple blossoms here in January and February. It will be ready for harvesting in six to seven months.

Visit the orange farm and discover its mode of cultivation.
