Kunhimangalam One Day Package
Kunhimangalam is a small village in the neighbourhood of Payyanur in Kannur district of Kerala. It is a village of craftsmen, especially of bronze and bell metal craft. These craftsmen, known as moosaris, are famous for making idols, lamps and other artifacts. Most of the articles are made without machines or moulds and hence are unique or exclusive.

Stopover 1

Bell Metal Heritage Village
Duration of visit: 9 am to 9.50 am
Bell Metal Heritage Village is a village of craftsmen renowned for making idols, lamps and other artifacts with bell metal.

Stopover 2

Weavers Society Kunhimangalam
Duration of visit: 10.10 am to 11am
Kannur, the Northern district of Kerala, is popularly known as the ‘city of looms and lores’, ‘town of export excellence’ etc. due to its unending relationship with the handloom industry.

Stopover 3

Traditional Goldsmith’s House (Tea & Snacks 11.20 am to 12pm)

Stopover 4

( Lunch at home 12.40 pm to 2pm)
Farm Visit Ezhom – Coconut Tree Climbing, Coconut Leaf Weaving.

Stopover 5

Duration of visit: 2.20 pm to 3pm
Ezhom - Catching Prawns, Crab, Fish in traditional way.

stopover 6

(3.20 pm to 4.20 pm Tea & Snacks)
Ezhom Boating or Narikkottu Illam.
