The third phase of RT came up with two separate streams of activities - the field level activities and the supporting academic and research activities. RT Mission will undertake the two activities and it will be under the control of Director, Department of Tourism. The proposed RT Mission will guide and execute the current and the future activities and Responsible Tourism Programs and initiatives of the Department of Tourism and the Government of Kerala.
RT Mission conducted many workshops, gramasabhas and other events as part of Responsible Tourism initiatives. Accessible Tourism workshops, Special Gramamasabhas, Clean Vembanadu initiative are all part of this. These programmes help in the better performance and functioning of Responsible Tourism.
