In all Grama Sabhas, the RT Mission focused on creating projects that assure the involvement of local communities and local self-governments to bring forward programmes and events to decide the activities in each tourist destination.
This programme with MLA as chairman and Responsible Tourism Mission Coordinator as convener also included leaders of all local self-governing institutions, the DTPC Secretary, and the Tourism Deputy Director as members.
In the Grama Sabha which was chaired by the President, Vechur Grama Panchayath, Mr. K. Rupesh Kumar, Co-ordinator, Responsible Tourism Mission presented the objectives of the “PEPPER” project.
